Green fingers and hard work!

 Edit   Edit   Edit

Sorry for the bad picture quality, it was evening and I had a lightbulb burst in my kitchen while snapping the last pictures, typical!

Being outside makes me feel free, healthy and happy – it gives me room to breathe and to destress.

Having my own garden plot is very important to me, I love gardening and last year was my first year with my bed own garden plot! I live in an apartment and since I love growing my own food and I want to be active, the garden was an excellent idea! I have been down there almost every day for the past two or three weeks, removing weeds and making the garden ready for another summer, I can’t wait to start planting things out and seeing it grow!

Today I bought a lot of seeds; Lettuce – two kinds, cucumber, carrot, spring onion, radishes, peas, tomatoes and so on. I also got potatoes from last years harvest, that I saved and am using this year, so I won’t need to buy more potatoes. I also saved some zucchini seeds from last year, and some bell pepper ones too. I can’t wait to see it all planted and growing, it’s gonna be so exiting.

Got this whole patch ready and planted some potatoes, it’s even raining right now, so the potatoes will be very happy! I’m sure they will grow pretty fast, the soil in the garden is amazing and we use recycled compost soil when we add more to our gardens, so it dosnt really need any fertilizer!

This is the entire spot that I got cleared today, I got pretty far! It’s hard work and I’m sore all over now, but it’s worth it, I love being able to go out here and just relax and do some gardening. The two garden beds contains lots of strawberry plants by the way – my favorite fruit!

Hope all of you guys have an amazing and fun hobby that you love just as much as I love being in my garden! The passion is all that matters, and when I’m in the garden, I’m calm and happy, my garden is my way of calming down, what’s yours?

See you guys online! xx

Busy bee aka me!

Cozy day with sis!

shopping

Today I had my yearly shopping spree with my little sister and I bought a lot of nice new things, mainly make-up, and a black bra haha.. I always seem to have more white bra’s than I have black, so I needed one more, just in case kinda.. The make-up I bought? Well.. It was kinda plain today really, a concealer from L’Oreal called ”True Match” and some Depend nail polish, a top coat and a bottom coat and then a nail polish remover, with vitamins in, that moisturizes your skin around your nails, instead of drying it out.. So that’s kinda neat! I always get so dry skin around my nails when I remove my polish, and it really sucks, so I am trying this one out!

The L’Oreal True Match concealer is a pretty damn good one, and I tried it in a store, I got a mini bottle test home, and I fell in love, it has almost every damn skin tone too! It is fantastic, truly! I can recommend this one for sure! It has a soft touch to it, and just melts into your skin and makes it look untouched and flawless. No ugly dusty powdery finish! Just a pure look, and that defiantly a huge plus for me.. As natural as possible!

And yes, that is my Shellack and its still lasting, I applied it Christmas morning, and it lasted till New Year’s Eve, and until now. Its a great polish and you can find it on Amazon, actually right here and its a very decent price, but remember that you need an UV light to make it dry you guys! Else it will never dry, and a bottom and top coat is pretty important too, makes it last longer and look better! – I am a HUGE fan of Shellack, and I swear it lasts for a week and about two weeks if you are careful with it! It is amazing..

Christmas decorations!

Merry Christmas.

This weekend, I had a busy schedule, I baked this years first batch of Christmas cookies, and they turned out delicious as always! Then I made some Christmas decorations, and I am still making them, I am busy, cause they need to be ready for tomorrow, the 1st of December, so I can light the candles according to time! So *phew* I am busy.. I haven’t gotten the flat decorated yet, but I will during the next couple of days, that’s for sure. I was out shopping for the recipe to make oatmeal balls, my grandmothers recipe, and their amazing, so those I will have to make as well. So yes, I have a lot going on at the moment, and also, I have made it a tradition, to do a big cleaning day, when I put up all my Christmas decorations, so that will also be on the list of ”to do’s”.

I also need to buy presents, and those are very few this year, which is kinda neat, then they can be more creative and exiting, and the budget is a bit more debatable! Its just my parents, my sister, her boyfriend, and Alex and me! So we are a small gathering this year, but it will be cozy and nice, celebrating Christmas with the loved ones, that is most near and dear to my heart, is always something I treasure a lot.

Here is a bit of pictures of what my last few days has looked like!

The cookie baking, the big Christmas tree being placed in our building complex, being at a ”Party Lite” party that my neighbor held and looking at amazing candles, my new hairy gnome and the decoration of my advent candles!

Pretty amazing night

Last weekend I was out at a bar with my sister, and we had shots, laughed and talked! I had an amazing time, and wanted to share some pictures with you guys, so you could see a little something from my amazing weekend!

The bar we are at, is called “Milk” – Yep the name is pretty funny, being a bar and all..

We had the best shots ever on that bar, they tasted like gummy bears! First shots besides tequila that I actually like! *yay*

I can feel that I’m not used to going out like that anymore, but I truly loved it, and I have missed being out like that, so the evening was welcomed with open arms!

Thx to my amazing sister for dragging my ass out of the house! Love ya!

The 80’s party

80’s & 90’s party!

We had a great time, it was a three course meal, a lot of fun, dancing and joking around. We had a great evening, and I think it was one of the best nights I had in a long time, the food was great, our starter was a tuna mousse, with some fresh bread and a little salad, our main course was  cream potatoes, roast beef and a lot of nice fresh salad, and a pigs roast I believe it was, complete with dressing and everything, it was really good all of it. For dessert they had various cakes, one of my favorites is ofc cheesecake, and the chocolate mousse was great too! I had so much to eat that night, it was crazy! The next day, we had ”Hangover food” at my friend Janes, we had ”Pulled pork”, and it was seriously yummy, you can see the pulled pork roast on one of the pics above, it was to die for!

At one of the pics above its me, and my friend Jane, at the party, it was a super nice time, and its there again next year, where they will be playing the oldies, but goodies! I have to go there again, really.. We had muscled men, congratulating a birthday girl on the dance floor, that was kinda fun, then we had poledancing, and a picture competition, where the winner got tickets to go see a concert of a really well known danish singer called Kim Larsen, I am not that fond of him, but it was a nice treat for the people who likes him. The drinks were a bit limited, because they couldn’t make that many various ones, so we had to settle for some of the few drinks they had, too bad! But me not being a heavy drinker, I was happy with the party. I had three guys come up to me and ask me to dance, I guess it’s flattering, and thank you for that. In the end some guy did get me pulled out on the dance floor, and nearly broke something on me by doing so. -He was pretty scary to dance with, I really didn’t like it much! Haha.. But looking back at it, and seeing my bruises on my hands and arms, I guess it was kinda funny.. Poor me!

Sushi Friday!

Yesterday (Friday) I had my little sister over for lunch, which was sushi! It was great and we enjoyed ourself very much, we saw “Wreck it Ralph”, ate, talked and went shopping together, just a typical “girly” day. I loved it very much, my sister and I are nearly the same age, she is a bit younger than me and we have some great laughs together! Yesterday was actually the day I bought my Christina London watch.

What did you guys do this Friday?

Today I have been out grocery shopping with my parents, it’s been a while since I saw them, so it was nice to see them again! Also doing some grocery shopping was highly needed, so it was great to get done.. Now I can read a book, relax and do some laundry and watch a movie or something! I am definitely gonna lounge in my armchair, that’s for sure! Hehe…
