Glam Glow

This is by far the best working brand I’ve tried to date, a perfect home spa experience, and worth every penny!

I’m one of those women who’s tried a LOT of face masks, and this is by far the best brand I’ve tried! Every product I’ve tried, have just been working and it’s also a pleasant experience – cause lets be honest, some face masks just plain hurts or dries into this impossible mess that you can’t wash off!

The Glam Glow supermud mask has a slight cooling effect, and is easy to rinse off when it’s dried. It leaves your skin feeling soft and clean. I can’t find a bad thing to say about this face mask, and normally I’m so disappointed with every new product I try – this has a Hollywood feel, and the price is fair too!

The Glam Glow Lip exfoliating treatment is a lip scrub, and I use it a lot, (mainly before applying long lasting lipsticks) and the container is huuuge, so you get a lot of scrub for your money! I’m again a bit speechless, because it actually works! It smells of mint (even tastes of mint lol!), and leaves your lips feeling baby soft, again not one bad word!

This product is for women on the go, it takes no time at all to apply and (for the mask) to dry, I’m impressed and will be repurchasing these products! I’m going to have to try the lip plumper that Glam Glow has made – I have high expectations now that I know these two products work so well!

Beautiful beach vibes

Lately I’ve been spoiled with some awesome products and I want to share a bit of my favorites with you guys!

The theme is of course: Beach vibes! Because it’s summer and in Denmark, the weather is insanely hot, perfect for a day at the beach.

ESSIE: Gel setter and Treat, love & Color

Through the years, Essie has become this “power brand” regarding nail varnish, and I adore the colors and the long lasting formula that it has, these two (from the left) is a Gel Setter top coat, it not only works as a top coat, but it also tints your varnish in a purple/pink hue, very cute! And the second one is a nail treatment varnish, that keeps your nails strong, it’s from Essie’s “TLC” collection, this color is “Mauve-Tivation” and is a soft purple/pink tone, and I love it, very summery. These two polishes together, lasted without chipping one single bit, a WHOLE week, rather impressive!

ECOOKING: Lip balm with pomegranate

– The danish store called “Matas” has a new collab partner called “Beame.”, and through “Beame.” there’s been a bunch of beauty highlights, that is on sale for that month, one of the June highlights, is the gorgeous Ecooking lip balm that you see on the picture above, and it’s insanely good! It’s all organic, raw and natural ingredients that the woman behind Ecooking is using, and who doesn’t love that?? I have this baby in my work bag, and it’s on my lips most weekdays! The scent of pomegranate that this lip balm has is amazing without being too much – a very natural scent.

HH SIMONSEN: The wet brush

I’ve been a fan of this brush since it first came on the market a billion years ago, it is simply amazing! No tangles, no ruined hair and best of all – such a fantastic design, I repurchase this brush every time I need a new brush, they truly are worth the fuss.

ESSIE: Fairy Tailor

I cant get around being in love with Essie, it’s affordable and the varnish just lasts ages, this time I’ve chosen to highlight this nude varnish – This baby is insanely cute and would go perfect with that natural beach look! You know the “casual minimal makeup” kinda vibe? This is your varnish for that occasion! (Or just for work, as I use it for!) it’s not over the top, just subtle, I like.. Again it lasts about a week, and I am a busy bee, I normally make my varnish chip in about a day or two!

Christmas wish list

Hi everyone, it’s been a while since I posted anything, mostly due to me focusing on my education and my job.

I’ve decided to share with you, a bit of wishes I have for Christmas this year, it’s mainly make up, cause I just can’t seem to get enough of it, and a bit of funny or cool things from one of my favorite websites – I can’t get enough of it!

I picked out a lot of different make up items, some is high end brands, and some is very affordable.

I also wished for some items to decorate my home (from my parents), because I don’t have much of that, and what I have is pretty old heirlooms, so I put them a bit out of the way, to make sure nothing happens to them.

The ABH Glow Kit palette, inspired by Nicole Guerriero! It’s fantastic, who can’t use a good highlighter kit? 😍 You can use it as a highlighter or as eyeshadows, they would just work wonders both ways, their just that damn pretty! It’s limited edition, so you better act fast guys, it’s definitely a Christmas present worth getting for the wife / girlfriend!

The metallic liquid lipsticks from MAC is to die for! I adore the color “Softly Rockin”, I have two colors from the Retro Matte liquid lipsticks, and their amazing! Soft, not too dry like many other long stay lipsticks are, it’s perfect for an evening out!

How gorgeous are these?! I love being cozy and warm, staying at home with a great book and a cup of coffee, these slippers are just perfect for that! Plus… They got lights on! Uuuhh!

The Too Faced Sweethearts perfect flush blush, its bling, a fantastic color and perfect for a beautiful blush glow, I think this is a gorgeous blush, would love this as a Christmas present!

The Nanoleaf Aurora LED light, its insane! You can set it up on an app on your phone, decide which colors you want, or even hook it up to your music device, and let it flash along with the music, it’s too cool. It can even wake you up slowly in the morning with a set timer, how incredible is that? I would love that in the bedroom, just above our bed, would look pretty neat!

The worlds cutest cup of coffee! A unicorn cup, for the unicorn / horse loving woman, haha! I think it’s adorable, I’m into this whole unicorn theme to be honest.. Their so FLUFFY! 😍

The ABH Modern Renaissance is a magnificent eyeshadow palette, I love the golden, brown and pink hues, their just very much me! A palette that’s highly pigmented and full of bling.

The MAC Snowball brush kits are adorable, every woman needs a new set of brushes once in a while, and who would say no to a MAC brush set? Their so pretty these! I love bling, and these are just bling enough for me!

The MAC Snowball eye bag in “Smokey Pink” is gorgeous, I think you could do some fantastic smokey eyes with just these two, and the mascara and eyeliner is great, I tried the eyeliner and I’ve heard great things about this mascara, all in all – a great kit!

Golden Rose is a new brand for me, they just started a store in Waves, and I have a long last matte liquid lipstickand a bronzer from them, and I adore both! I always wanted to try out a lip primer, just to see how it would work in my make up routine, and I wouldn’t mind getting my hands on this one!

I myself went a bit mad with presents for my fiancé and my family this year, but I won’t mention what I bought for them, because they might follow this blog and get a sneak peak, that would be too bad!

I hope your all doing great and enjoying this month and the upcoming holidays, see you online!

I bought a new contouring stick from Nyx today

Today I finally got around to look at contouring, as I have won the new smashbox contouring kit, but in powder form, I wanted to try out some other ways of contouring, since I am hardly a pro at this! I saw a Youtube video, and decided between 3 products from different brands and in the end, I picked Nyx.

It seems much easier to blend, creamy and easy to apply and then its 2 in 1, so also easy to store and take with you if you travel – which I do a lot lately, due to my fiancé having three kids back in England and we live in Denmark! 😀

The videos I’ve seen of others using this Nyx – wonder stick, has been easy and fast to apply, so I cant wait to get my hands on this amazing product!

Have you guys got a favorite contouring product? Cream or powder? How do you blend the best way possible? – I personally do brush blending when its a powder, and I do sponge if its creamy, that’s why I think cream contouring works best for me, cause I am best at using a beauty sponge. It just seems more natural in my hand and I have an easier feel of it.

See you online guys! x

Contouring can be natural!

Everyone around me has been so scared of getting the very feared “Kardashian” look, and I completely agree and understand this! It’s too much of a good thing, and contouring should only be used to enhance your features, not erase them completely.

I have been the lucky winner of a give away this December that I have been wanting to blog about! Now I have the chance cause I just used my new contouring kit from Smashbox that I won one of for myself and one for my little sister. Here is the result of my way of contouring – and I made it as natural as possible, there is a million and one way to do this, and I just chose what was right in my mind.

So to break it down: I have highlighted under my eyes and on a small triangle between my eyebrows, then the bridge of my nose and my chin. I have used the contouring / dark under my cheekbones, then bronzer on my cheeks and added a bit of blush. Very simple, very natural, I just wanted to enhance the features I already do have.

This is what I won! I don’t use the brush, cause I feel like it loses hair and the hair then gets stuck to my skin, so am not fond of the brush, instead I use the brush from “Real Techniques” – my favorite brush and sponge brand. This is the exact brush I use by the way.

I got this with my Goodiebox in what I believe was the November edition, where they made a “Magasin” edition, I loved that box a lot, and use many of the products from the box, and repurchased a lot of them too. So if you guys are Danish, do have a look at their website, they do some awesome monthly boxes of spoils!

My newly repurchased make up products!

Well, I have a lot of favorite make-up products, and today I repurchased some of my all time favorites!

No. 1 Loréal Infallible 24H Matte foundation: The shade is in 11 Vanilla – this product is truly amazing, it has a high coverage but a medium texture, which makes it feather light and feels gorgeous on your skin! It covers up perfectly and it fits my skin tone better than any foundation I’ve ever used – and it’s not even that expensive with the price of £14 it’s definitely affordable!

No. 2 Max Factor Masterpiece Transform Mascara: The shade is just regular black, and it’s fantastic for parting your lashes and defining them in a natural way, but still making them seem much longer, I use this brush with other mascaras too, for a better finish, cause it just parts the lashes so easily! I love it!

No. 3 Maybelline Brow Drama Mascara: The shade is dark brown, which fits my eyebrows the best – I would recommend that for everyone that’s brunette! It keeps the eyebrows in place, makes them more defined and gives them a fuller look, I have repurchased this product four times now, and I really just can’t get enough of it!

The nude make up look

The very natural nude look that I love so much, with a gorgeous bold eyeliner!
Things I used:

Rimmel 25HR Lasting Finish foundation: I have never really used Rimmel foundation before, but I picked this up in UK and found it to be fantastic, I blend it with a sponge tho, to make it more natural looking, it’s a very good coverage.

Maybelline Master Presice: The best wet eyeliner on the market in my opinion! I love the real thin lines it makes and how precise it is, the name suits it.

Max Factor Masterpiece Transform mascara: This is a newly purchased mascara, but it’s my absolute favorite one, it separates the lashes and makes them all black and very long. It looks very natural, it lasts the entire day, doesn’t peel off and doesn’t clump. It’s great!

Urban Decay Naked3 Palette: I love the nude tones this amazing palette has, the brown tones with no shimmer was what I used this time. Limit as an all over the lid base, Nooner as a dark crease color and also used at the sides of my lid, to strengthen the liner and then Strange for under the brow, and in the corner of my eyes, to create light. The colors blend so well and their amazing to work with.

Maybelline Brow Drama Brow Mascara: This is a fantastic thing, I am totally addicted! It makes my brows pop, but also looks natural, like their not colored – which I really love. They make the brows stay on their wished place and I am using the Dark Brown color, which is the best for my brow tone.

MAC Brave Lipstick: This lipstick is the one that’s so hot and heavy right now, everyone seems to be all crazy about this shade, Brave is the “it” color, I got this by my Bigsister, I actually love this, it fits my skin tone very well.
Do you guys love a specific make up look? I’m all about the nude and natural, with a hint of smokey eyes. I can’t help but think it’s beautiful and Classic.
